      Life Ethics
ACADEMIA LEADERSHIP HEALTHLINE  RELATIONSHIP  BUSINESS WORLD
Life ethics are the basic values or norms of society. A person living by these is accorded a level of respect and recognition which wealth cannot buy. Life ethics are vital elements in the life style of an individual which portrays or constitute over 50% of his/her personality. As norms they are hardly written but mostly learnt from other neighbors, parents and all in the society and even from other creatures of God example plants. Because leaving is a process these virtues take ample time to develop and be seen in the life of a person who is desirous of portraying them.
The absence of or non-manifestation of these give rise to the very negatives of these to manifest. Thus there is nothing like a level playing ground or a neutral position but either of the two.
Some of these life ethics we will be considering include courtesy, gratitude, sharing, generosity, giving just to mention but a few.

Courtesy
Courtesy is a honorable requirement in the behaviour or demeanor, birthing from respect, kindness, love and having others in mind.
Courtesy encompasses good manners, shinning from a humble and cheerful heart eager to please and fascinate but never to flatter.
It is the virtue that gives breath of life to politeness.
The sincerity and purity demonstrated by a courteous person is priceless and unparallel.
In its absoluteness, courtesy is the fulfilment of a divine precept” Do unto others as you will have them do onto you’’ Luke 6.31
It’s the panacea to averting petty quarrels and wars and thee beauty of cutesy in a faithful and loyal heart melts and effects the changes to the most sinister plans
Paving the way for unworthy personalities to rise through the ranks of achievements and favour before even kings and rulers.
The scope of courtesy is unlimited. For as the divine command to love our neighbours is all embracing, so does courtesy admits or makes room for acceptors.
A courteous smile may speak and convict the most hardened and troubled of hearts than a chain of sermons
The lips of the courteous never lacks” please” “thank you” ?excuse me please” “pardon” and this is what adds a touch of ecstasy to his/ her personality.
All grace to abound in courtesy is in Christ Jesus and it is only by accepting him that is Lord Saviour that this earthly ethic will yield eternal recompense

Gratitude
Is the state or felling of being grateful; that kind of feelings towards someone who has been kind? The debt of gratitude cannot be fully paid as long as the grace of God continues to sustain us. This old world is crying out for gratitude. Everyone likes to be thanked including you. It is a healing to some souls and a spur onto height which otherwise may have been unaffordable. Are you grateful to friends, parents and neighbours for a kind gesture? Then don’t only thank them on leaving, but go the extra miles of sending then a note of thanks; and much more a gift, notwithstanding how small it is, for the value of a gift is in the sincerity with which it’s given and not in its magnitude. Were you grateful to the surgeon who skill saves your years of agony embarrassment and your very dear life? Did you ever voice your thanks?
Or give back a smile of appreciation?
Never say he was only doing his duty or presume that everyone (patient) will be gushing with gratitude in deed and kind and thus he must have gotten stacks of grateful letters. Remember these (Doctors) are human beings And their heart glow when they are appreciated notwithstanding their shortcomings. They will do their work the better in the future if you will just go the extra mile of gratitude
Ask yourself if you can gladden a few hearts around you by demonstrating the love of gratitude.
A good criterion for measuring your success in life is the number of people you have made happy, the number of people you have spurred onto greater achievement in life
Gratitude is a certain way of increasing that number.
